What to Do For Sunday Fun In Orlando

Instead of putting on Netflix and staying at home, get outside and try something new for some Sunday fun. We often pass up amazing experiences that exist right in our backyard in exchange for a day of rest but Orlando is filled with experiences that are sure to spice up your Sunday.

Grab A Beer at a Local Brewery

Craft breweries have been popping up all around America, and Orlando is no different with their array of locations to nab a beer. Looking for beer knowledge? Head to Bowigens Beer Company where the staff has a variety of guest and handcrafted beers. For a beer that evokes a light and fruity taste, try the Green 18 Cream Ale, or for something hopper, their Bow 9 American Pale Ale is renowned. Sunday night is also Growler Day, where growler fills are $2 off. Plus, Bowigens is mere minutes from IMT Newport Colony for some Sunday fun.

Take your dog for an outing at the Hourglass Brewery, only a 15-minute drive away, where pets are welcome on their patio. Don’t have a dog? Not to worry, the brewery has a 240-seat taproom filled with board and console games. When you stop by, make you ask about their live music and comedy nights while sipping on one of their specialty sour beers.

Sundays are for Brunch

If you are in a relaxing mood, grab your friends for a tasty brunch. From bottomless mimosas to chicken and waffles, there is a brunch spot for everyone. For a girl’s brunch try Kasa Restaurant & Bar’s Bubbles N’ Brunch for $33 every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The menu includes bottomless mimosas, a make your own sangria option, and a made-to-order station.

Dexter’s of Winter Park is ideal for foodies looking for some southern comfort food after a long Saturday night. With every dish costing an average of $10, you can enjoy a “Hot Mess” that consists of a plate of fried chicken that sits on a buttermilk biscuit topped with two poached eggs and sausage gravy. Not your thing? Try their warm, homemade walnut banana bread with honey butter instead.
