San Diegans, Wine Out At The Uncorked Wine Festival

San Diego may be known for their specialty craft brews, but on April 1st, this city belongs to wine lovers. The Uncorked Wine Festival is returning to San Diego for their second annual Uncorked: SD Wine Fest at Marina Park North and it’s only a short, 35-minute drive for our residents at IMT Sorrento Valley.

If you like wine, live music and delicious food, this is the event for you. Over 50 wineries will be in attendance pouring over 150 varieties of wine. Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio will all be there and ready for your enjoyment. Wineries that have participated in the past are Stag’s Leap Winery, Adelaida Cellars, Francis Copola, Meiomi Coastal California Wines and more. Still not convinced? There will be a champagne bar, local wineries, gourmet food trucks, live music and games. This means that you can sip on wine or champs while dancing with your friends. Now, what’s better than that?

Bring your family or friends who are over 21 for a fun afternoon sipping on wines and exploring the world of wine from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thinking about relaxing in the Marina Park North? Bring a picnic blanket, hang out and enjoy the view of the marina and another beautiful day and in Southern California.

Bite San Diego

Now, you have the opportunity to try a variety of wines and make new friends with people who enjoy wine, too. Tickets are $70 for VIP admission at 12 p.m. while general admission is $60 and starts at 1 p.m. If you do go, make sure to collect the free brochures or stickers the wineries hand out, it’s an easy way to remember the wines you tried. If not, you can always take a photo of the bottle they poured you.
